- Better parsing of modem answers, now F1 can parse also multi-lines messages like:
Carrier: 14400
Protocol: Lap-M
Connect 19200
in the example F1 set the reference baudrate to 14400 and the serial port (if not 'locked') to 19200. The 'protocol' message is added to the log too.
F1 can accept also these numeric response: '0' (Ok) and '4' (ERROR), this enhancement is useful for BBS sysops using Hermes or other software that require numeric responses from the modem and accept crash calls.
- If you set an event to call 2 or more nodes, F1 tries all the nodes, and doesn't wait until the first call is successful. This worked only in TabbyNet emulation, now it works in Call emulation too.
- The day-of-week flag is now interpreted correctly. You can have more schedules with the same start and end time, but different day of week.
- Private Nodelist. F1 1.0.3 uses the private nodelist created by F1Setup 1.0.3. You need F1Setup 1.0.3 to activate this feature.
Formula 1 v.1.0.2
---------------
New bug fixes:
- ZedZap transfers are now cancelled after 4 consecutive CANs, not at the first CAN as before
- Crash call: F1 now uses the port written in the connect.bbs file
- Crash calls now works with Second Sigth software even if the serial speed is not set to locked
Formula 1 v.1.0.1
---------------
Release 1.0.1 doesn't add new functions to F1, but it fixes some bugs found in v.1.0:
- F1 now doesn't change the speed to 2400 baud when dialing, but it uses the speed selected with F1 Setup.
- Hang-Up and Modem Init routines are improved, init-error messages now are 'real' error messages.
- Now events can wrap through midnight.
- For Sysops: when receives a crash call F1 now uses the speed chosen by the BBS software even if you select 'Locked Speed' with F1 Setup.
- For Sysops: there were reports of problems receiving calls from points with 4D or 5D addresses. The fix is to put the BBS address in the 'Boss' field of the 'Point' window of F1 Setup too. This should be fixed with versione 1.0.1, let me know if you still have problems.
Formula 1 v.1.0
--------------
F1 and MacWoof: the manual doesn't report that you need to use the 'IMPORT' command of MacWoof to load received messages, and the 'EXPORT' command before sending messages with F1. It's important to use the default name chosen by MacWoof with the 'EXPORT' command. You cannot use the 'SEND' command of MacWoof.
F1 Setup: the disk contains the new version af F1 Setup, but it's equivalent to the old version described in the manual, only windows are slightly changed.
Balloon Help: Balloon Help is available for both F1 Setup and Formula 1.
